Run a Mutt was founded in 2009 by Colleen Martin.
Inspired by my own dog, Elliot, I came up with the idea for Run a Mutt. Elliot showed me the importance of exercise in a dog’s life. I would like to help bring this same level of enjoyment and well-being to your dog’s life.
I have lived and provided pet care in Delmar for the last 13 years. I have one rescue dogs of my own, Lars and one cat who thinks he is a dog, Lemmy. I have fostered 7 dogs for a local rescue and foster failed with two of them. I have also raised a puppy for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. When not working, I love hiking, camping, baking and reading.
I am dedicated to giving the same love and attention to every one of my clients that I would give to my own pets.
I am insured and Red Cross certified in pet first aid. I have also received training in the care of cats and kittens through MHRHS. I have years of experience as a volunteer with Peppertree Rescue.
